A THUG who attacked a man with a child’s scooter leaving him critically ill in a coma has been jailed for two years.
The 38-year-old victim went into cardiac arrest after he was hit over the head with the metal scooter in Offenham Road, Mottingham.
He was taken to Kings College Hospital, Denmark Hill, with life threatening injuries and he spent three weeks there recovering.
Steven Dargle, aged 34, of no fixed address, pleaded guilty to GBH at Croydon Crown Court.
Victoria Hollman, of Wynford Grove, St Paul’s Cray, pleaded guilty to assisting an offender.
The 20-year-old was given a six month prison sentence, suspended for a year, and a three month curfew between the hours of 9pm and 7am.
