A FLASH mob sparked spontaneous dancing in the street to encourage people to quit smoking and get dancing.
Sixty dancers from Bird College in Sidcup took to the Broadway in Bexleyheath to kick off dancing on Saturday, March 3.
Passers-by, including Bexleyheath and Crayford MP David Evennett, joined in and were shepherded towards Bexley stop smoking team’s Quit Bus, where they could get advice and sign up to a four-week quit plan.
Stop smoking service manager Jo Woodvine said: “It was great to see the look on people’s faces as they realised what was going on and even began to join in the dancing. People not only had a lot of fun, but were able to find out more about stopping smoking.”
