BEN Egginton and Jordan Beardmore won the boys’ doubles silver medal in the Badminton England Under 17 Bronze Grade tournament at Bournemouth.
Egginton, from Faringdon, and Cumnor’s Beardmore lost 21-15 in the final to Harry Brewis (Chilton) and Josh Musty (Swindon).
Joe Roberts (Brize Norton) exited the National Under 15 Championships in Hatfield at the group stage.
Roberts beat Amit Chaudhri (Northumberland) 21-11, 19-21, 21-8, but lost to Edward Thorpe (Notts) 18-21, 21-17, 21-19.
Oxfordshire’s Masie Boyd, Ethan Rose and Safia Khimji all won under 11 singles matches.
