A 13-YEAR-OLD ballet dancer from Bexley has won a role in a prestigious West End show.
Ria Marsh, of Cross Lane in Bexley Village, was chosen from more than 600 auditionees to perform in A Little Princess at the Peacock Theatre.
The youngster, who rehearses for three hours every day, has been dancing since the age of three and is also a member of Bird Junior Dance School in Sidcup.
This is the third time Ria has entered the competition, run by London Children’s Ballet.
Proud mum Michelle Marsh, 45, said: “I just thought it wasn’t real when I found out because it’s such a prestigious company and is really hard to get into.
“We’re just so proud, it means so much.”
Ria, who attends Farringtons School in Chislehurst, must now travel to Fulham every weekend for rehearsals.
The four-day show runs at the theatre from April 19 to 22.
