FOUR people have been taken to hospital - two with life-threatening injuries - following a crash on the A20 near Swanley.

Kent Police were called to the collision on the coastbound carriageway, between Crittalls Corner and the M25 at junction three, just before 10am this morning. (March 7)

Police say a van and a car were involved in the crash.

A further person has been taken to hospital with injuries described by police as ‘serious.’

It is estimated the A20 will be closed coastbound between Crittalls Corner and the M25 for up to three hours while investigative work is carried out and motorists are advised to avoid the area.

A fire crew from London and an air ambulance also attended the scene as it was reported people were trapped in their vehicles.
