PLANS to build a massive multimillion residential and leisure complex in Bromley town centre have been approved.
Councillors at last night’s development control committee meeting gave the green light to the 24-storey £90m development at the Westmoreland Road car park site.
It is set to include a 130-bedroom hotel, 200 apartments, 25,000 sq ft of cafes and restaurants along with a nine screen multiplex cinema.
The plans also include a landscaped public square and a new 400 space underground car park.
It is expected building work will be completed in 2014.
