ALMOST 60 people worked up a sweat for a heart charity at a sponsored aerobathon and spinathon in Dartford.
The four-hour event at Fairfield Pool and Leisure Centre in Lowfield Street on Saturday, February 25, raised around £3,000 for the British Heart Foundation.
Fitness instructor Sharon Gosal, 38, of Milestone Road, Dartford, organised the event following the death of her 21-year-old niece Sinetta Sahota last year.
She said: “The whole day went so well. Everything went exactly according to plan and everyone was great.
“Hopefully it will make a difference to somebody else’s life. We did not get that extra time, so hopefully somebody else will.”
Ms Gosal plans to hold a ball at Princes Park on Saturday (March 11), which she hopes will raise another £3,000 for the charity.
