WITH Easter round the corner, a hospice is calling out to the knitting community to provide their nifty knitting skills.
Harris HospisCare in Orpington is working on its Easter campaign to knit chicks and bunnies so they can be filled with small chocolate eggs.
So far more than 3,500 have been stuffed with the eggs and are ready to go into shops and businesses.
However more are needed.
The hospice's fundraising assistant, Marlon Burton, said: "In 2012 our aim is to raise £4,000 during the Easter chick campaign.
"All we need now is to find more people to join our army of knitters and we can achieve our goal."
