YOUNGSTERS have been getting creative at Gravesend’s cyclopark by using their graffiti skills to decorate the site.
A total of 12 budding artists from Kent County Council’s (KCC) youth project got together on February 12 to decorate two tunnels in the park.
They worked alongside former graffiti artist Andrew Greenwood, who owns a spray paint company in the area.
Together, they painted rural scenery and sporting figures onto the concrete.
Funds were provided for the project from KCC’s Youth Opportunities Fund.
The park’s community officer, Tay Arnold said: “It’s great to get them involved.
“It gives them a positive place to get involved and display their art.
“They can express their artistic individuality.”
