VOLUNTEERS are needed for a helpline that offers advice and support to people with dementia and their carers.
Northfleet-based charity Alzheimer’s and Dementia Support Services, which runs the helpline, will give full training as people take the calls in their own homes.
A spokesman for the charity said: “We offer an anonymous and confidential service, allowing people to speak freely and offload without judgement.
“We have a lovely team of volunteers who will make you very welcome.
“All you need is a spare four hours a week and a home landline. “ For more information, call 0800 500 3014.
