A NURSERY in Dartford is celebrating an outstanding OFSTED report.
Fleet Day Nursery, which has been based in a classroom at Fleet Down Primary School in Lunedale Road in Dartford since 1991, was rated as outstanding in all areas of the assessment.
Manager Sarah Woodham said: “It’s brilliant. We couldn’t believe it, we are so happy about it. We worked really hard to get where we are and we are pleased we have been graded outstanding.”
Inspector Linda Du Preez wrote in her report that the day nursery for 46 two to four-year-olds had an ‘exemplary partnership with parents and other agencies’, took all necessary steps to keep the children safe and promoted diversity and equality.
Ms Du Preez wrote: “Children make outstanding progress in their learning and development in this highly stimulating nursery.”
