A COMMUNITY chamber choir in Gravesend is appealing for new members.
The Marlowe Singers rehearse at St. Andrew's Arts Centre in Royal Pier Road every Thursday from 7.45pm and is welcoming people to attend.
It is especially looking for men to join after it has gradually become an all ladies’ choir.
The choir has been meeting for more than 25 years and the group has a varied repertoire spanning the ages, including contemporary, show and gospel tunes.
It performs several concerts throughout the year and sometimes pairs with local orchestras or ensembles.
It also holds charity concerts.
For more information, go to marlowesingers.co.uk or call the choir’s secretary Jane Self on 01474 872276.
