ARMED with just a fake brick wall and some animated projections, girls rocked their way through a futuristic adventure.

Set in 2304, the Bromley High School production of West End hit Queen musical We Will Rock You involved almost 200 pupils and staff as dancers, singers, actors, musicians and technicians.

The show used a fusion of retro fashions to create the fantasy world with the songs driven by dance styles including tap, Latin, ballet and street dance.

And with a set of just a fake brick wall, the cast blasted their way through a back catalogue of well known Queen songs including Somebody to Love and the title track.

Bromley High’s headteacher Louise Simpson said: “The prefects and staff involved have orchestrated an amazing, and wonderfully engaging and memorable show, and I cannot thank them enough for the enormous amount of time, hard work, energy and talent that has gone into it.

“The show was fantastic – with some amazing star performances amongst the girls in music, dance and drama.”
