Lines are now open to vote for Petts Wood's Miss London contestant Charlotte Babington

VOTING lines are now open to help Charlotte Babington win Miss London 2012.

The 21-year-old student plans to write about her beauty pageant experience to kickstart her career in the competitive world of magazine journalism.

And Miss Babington, of Sefton Road, Petts Wood, hopes members of the public will vote for her to help her get to the Miss London final in central London on March 17.

If she wins there she will represent the city in this year’s Miss England pageant.

She said: “With me what you see is what you get, I’m genuine and I have a sense of humour.

“I like being glamorous but I still have my head screwed on and I’m not a diva.

“With my writing I like to inspire people and help them and winning Miss London would give me a head start in my career.”

To vote for Miss Babington text MISS LONDON05 to 63333 (cost 50p plus standard network rate) or call 09013 071037 and enter 05 when prompted (51p plus network extras). Lines close at 5pm on March 12.

And she is also looking for a business to sponsor her in the competition with the benefits to include the company name appearing on her pageant sash.
