WOMEN are being invited to experience an Olympic sport by signing up to a judo course.
British Judo’s Adult Beginners Course (ABC) will be held at Bexley Judokwai, based at Sidcup Rugby Club, in Sydney Road, Sidcup.
It will take place on January 22 from 3pm to 4pm.
The British Judo Association’s chief executive officer, Scott McCarthy, said: "The sport has something to offer to anyone who is interested in gaining physical skills, core stability, confidence, strength and discipline.
"It is an educational platform as well as an Olympic sport.”
The course costs £60 and includes 10 weeks judo tuition, a British Judo adult licence, a judo suit and the opportunity to take your first grading.
