ANOTHER two phases of the Ferrier Estate redevelopment have been approved.

Greenwich Council’s planning board gave phases three and four of the £1bn project, dubbed Kidbrooke Village, the go-ahead last week.

The third phase will see 983 homes, along with a 100-room hotel, commercial space, a new supermarket, community building, public square and open space.

Phase four, featuring 1,260 homes, will see more of the estate demolished and rebuilt around the Harrow Meadow site.

The vast majority of residents have now left the Ferrier but a few are still awaiting offers of new homes.

Several have been taken to court to make them vacate their homes before a March deadline.
