Firefighters called to Beckenham house fire
TWENTY firefighters battled a house fire in Beckenham yesterday afternoon (January 11).
Crews from Beckenham and Forest Hill were called to the blaze in Croydon Road just before 5pm and had it under control by 5.25pm.
Half of the ground floor was damaged by fire.
The cause is believed to be accidental.
