A 29-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court following a double stabbing at a Sydenham leisure centre.
James Campbell, of Bayes Close, Sydenham, appeared at Woolwich Crown Court yesterday (January 11) charged with GBH and possession of an offensive weapon.
It follows an incident on January 3 when a customer and a staff member were both stabbed inside the gym at The Bridge leisure centre, Kangley Bridge Road, Lower Sydenham.
Both men, aged 20 and 41, needed hospital treatment after the attack.
Campbell has been remanded in custody until his plea and case management hearing on March 7.
