A GALLERY in Gravesend is looking for wintry art for a new seasonal exhibition.
The Blake Gallery in Gravsham Council's Civic Centre is inviting artists to have their work displayed for free in its Essence of Winter exhibition.
The display, running from December 12 to January 6, will showcase work in all types of media which captures the season, whether it be a painting of a snow covered landscape or a photograph of typical winter's day.
Interested artists should submit a low resolution image to thegallery@gravesham.gov.uk by next Friday.
The title of the piece photographed, the medium, the approximate size and the price, if intended for sale, should be included with the submission, as well as a brief description of the artist's style of work, inspirations and artistic history.
All work will then need to be delivered to the gallery in Gravesham Council's Civic Centre on December 9 and will need to be ready to hang.
