POLICE have officially named the man whose remains were unearthed in a garden in Eltham on Sunday.

He has been identified as 18-year-old Stephen Ojerinola, from London.

His family has been informed and a post-mortem examination took place at Greenwich Mortuary yesterday.

Five people have been arrested as part of the investigation into the discovery of Mr Ojerinola’s remains in Lynsted Gardens.

On Monday a 35-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of murder.

He is currently in custody at a south London police station.

Three women, one aged in her 60s and two in their 40s, and a man, in his 40s, were arrested on Sunday on suspicion of murder and conspiracy to pervert the course of justice.

One of the women, aged in her 40s, has been bailed to return to a police station later this month pending further enquiries.

The others remain in custody.
