ROLL up, roll up for a circus so fiercely good, it's back for another nibble.

After a sucessful run last year, the Circus Bites event will return to The Albany in Deptford this Christmas with more thrilling, gravity-defying performances.

Wowing audiences at the in-the-round theatre in Douglas Way on December 15 at 7.30pm, Circus Bites Back features aerial stunts, acrobatics and physical theatre with a musical twist from circus luminaries, including Upswing, Long Spoon Circus, Dodgy Whiskers, Leo Hedman, Alice Allart and Tumble Circus.

Enfant terrible Dusty Limits will return to host the evening, bringing his intoxicating cocktail of cabaret, comedy and song to the venue alongside the ukulele-strumming songstress, Tricity Vogue.

Curator, Albany associate artist and founder of Upswing, Vicki Amedume said: "We are really excited to have Circus Bites return to the Albany.

"There are very few opportunities for people to see such a range of circus by such a range of companies in one night. It will be a night of the spectacular, the funny, the poignant, the beautiful and a fantastic representation of the talent in British circus."
