TWO men accused of attempting to rob a supermarket in Beckenham have appeared in court.
Bobby Baker and Robert Richards appeared at Tower Bridge Magistrates’ Court yesterday (September 14) charged with attempted robbery of Waitrose near Beckenham Junction station.
Baker, from Thornton Heath, and Richards, from Purley, were both remanded in custody to appear at the Old Bailey on December 1.
The men were arrested at Beckenham Junction on Monday along with a third man.
It is believed he is set to appear at the same magistrates’ court this morning (September 15) but police have yet to release details of this man.
