A 27-YEAR-OLD man was attacked as he stopped his car to close his rattling boot.

The victim was driving his red Ford Escort to work, when he stopped to get out and shut his boot.

When he got out, three men attacked him in Henderson Drive, Dartford.

The offenders punched the man in the face and tried to get into his car, at 5.20am on Monday, September 4.

However, the victim managed to struggle free, got back in his car and drove away before calling the police.

He received treatment at Darent Valley Hospital for facial injuries.

Two of the attackers were white. One was aged between 16 and 18, and was wearing a dark jumper and dark trousers.

The second man, aged between 25 and 30, is 5ft 6in tall with blond hair and was wearing a black jumper and dark trousers.
