Star Lane was cordoned off while police investigated the incident
AN 18-YEAR-OLD man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a teenager who died after falling from a motorcycle.
John Alan Vincent, of Sandpiper Way, St Mary Cray, is accused of killing 17-year-old Tom Warde from Kidbrooke.
He was arrested by officers from the Met’s Specialist Crime Directorate on August 23 and appeared at the Old Bailey this morning (August 30).
Vincent is next due to appear at the court on December 1 for a plea and case management hearing.
Mr Warde was taken to hospital after an incident in Star Lane, St Mary Cray, on August 9, and he died two days later.
The rider of the bike was not injured.
