Increasing numbers of Brits are choosing to commute to their jobs in the UK from their permanent homes abroad, extending the UK commuter belt into Europe according to experts.

A recent poll commissioned by the Property Investor Show revealed that 80 per cent of people questioned would consider leaving the UK to attain a better quality of life, with the stressful daily commute to work one of the main push factors.

The lower cost of houses in Europe compared to the UK as well as cheaper flights, faster rail links and better communications are now allowing Brits to make the regular commute to the UK from overseas homes.

This new commuter belt is set to grow in popularity over the next decade as transport and communication links continue to make living abroad while working in the UK an attractive option.

The Propery Investor Show \runs from September 22 to September 24 at ExCeL. For more information visit the website propertyinvestor.co.uk/london/
