LESS than half of News Shopper voters think Tony Blair should stand down as Prime Minister right now.
If the national media and politics pundits are to be believed, there is a country-wide clamour for the PM to step down immediately.
However, when polled, just 47.9 per cent of News Shopper website users agreed that Mr Blair should resign straight away.
In contrast, 41.1 per cent of voters said he should block Gordon Brown's expected appointment as Labour leader by not standing down at all.
Just 5.5 per cent of people who took part in the poll said the PM should quit within six months, and the same number said he should go inside the next year.
