BROMLEY police have issued 54 new images of suspects wanted in connection with this month’s riots.

While the Met would not give out borough by borough figures, across London 1,838 people have been arrested including 396 under the age of 18.

So far 1,049 of these have been charged.

For crimes in Bromley those arrested are aged from 14 to 45, some of whom come as far away as Wolverhampton.

Twice the number of people who do not live in the borough have been arrested compared to those who do.

Police are investigating 81 offences related to the riots in the borough including burglaries, criminal damage and assault.

Up until now a total of 88 suspect images have been released by Bromley police.
