A MAN was wounded following a row with a van driver while crossing Elmers End Road in Beckenham yesterday.
He was taken to King’s College Hospital with injuries to his abdomen and shoulder, which are not considered life-threatening.
The incident happened near the junction with Altyre Way.
Police say the suspect, who was driving a white Astra van, is described as a mixed race man, aged 35, about 5ft 10in tall, of stocky build, with cropped hair on the side of his head and bald on top.
The suspect, who has a Jamaican accent, is also said to have freckles on his cheeks and possibly a bruise after being struck by the victim.
