Man rescued from car after colliding with lorry
A MAN had to be rescued from his car this morning after it collided with a lorry.
Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision at around 6am on the A2 Blackwall Tunnel approach.
Crews from Woolwich, East Greenwich, Greenwich and Lewisham attended the scene.
London Ambulance Service also attended and treated two patients.
A man, believed to be in his 40’s, was taken to Royal London Hospital as a priority with back injuries.
