A SEVEN-year-old girl has been injured after a crane collided with a double decker bus.
The incident happened at 2:05pm on Thursday in Jubilee Way, outside Sidcup railway station.
Metal being lifted by a crane hit the front window of the upper deck on the route 160 bus, smashing the glass.
Two young girls, aged 7 and 12, were sat in the front seats with their mother.
The 7-year old girl was left with a minor cut, although she declined treatment from the London Ambulance Service.
Heavy reinforced steel was being lifted by the crane at the time to the top floor of the on-going building works opposite the station.
A Transport for London spokesman said: "A route 160 bus operated by Arriva was struck by metal being moved by a crane in Jubilee Way, Sidcup today.
"We understand the incident has been referred to the Health and Safety Executive.”
