A 41-YEAR-OLD woman has been disqualified from driving for 18 months and fined £300 for drink driving.

Susan Ann Lucas, of Mounts Road, Greenhithe, was sentenced on August 8 at Dartford and Gravesham Combined Magistrates' Court after pleading guilty to drink driving.

On July 17 Lucas drove a Volkswagen Golf along Knockhall Road, Swanscombe, while over the drink drive limit.

She had 106 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.

Lucas’ disqualification can be reduced by 135 days if she satisfactorily completes a driving course approved by the Secretary of State by July 23 next year, costing £192.

She must also pay £85 court costs and a £15 victim surcharge.
