PEOPLE in Bexley will be sleeping more safely in their beds after getting advice from experts on how to make their homes more secure.
Crayford's Safer Neighbourhood policing team and Homebase staff were at the Homebase store, Roman Way, Crayford, offering people simple crime prevention advice and equipment to prevent burglaries.
Sergeant Neil Stevenson said: "Burglary is something people worry about and this event provided an excellent opportunity to encourage shoppers to take action."
It was all part of National Security Week, which focuses on how to prevent holiday break-ins and encourages people to think about simple home security measures.
