A NOISY neighbour has been fined for blasting out music after ignoring a previous order to turn the volume down.
Jessica Leeburn, 25, has been fined £500 for playing loud music at her home in Dunkery Road, Mottingham, after breaching a noise abatement order.
Leeburn was previously convicted of breaching a noise abatement order in February, but continued to play loud music, leading to Bromley Council taking action again.
Executive councillor for public protection Tim Stevens said: “This kind of behaviour is anti-social and shows a disregard for residents living nearby.”
He added: “Prosecution is a last resort and this person had ignored our warnings and continued playing loud music.”
Leeburn was also ordered to pay £350 costs to the council during the hearing at Bromley Magistrates’ Court on July 27.
