ASPIRING musicians have a chance to perform on the same stage as pop sensations at a huge music festival.
ArtsTrain is running a competition offering young people from the borough the chance to play at Sainsbury’s Super Saturday show in Clapham Common on September 10.
The charitable trust wants people to make their own song, using samples from its website, with the winner performing at the festival which will feature stars such as Chipmunk and The Saturdays.
ArtsTrain, which is run by charitable trust Bromley Mytime, sees young people working with professional musicians to learn creative skills they can take into adult life.
Bromley Mytime youth participation manager Keith Sykes said: “Since 2008 we have helped over 600 young people build their skills and access professional music making.”
