THE appetite for tracing one's family roots has grown hugely in recent years.
Many people have taken up family history research as a hobby, fuelled by television programmes such as Who Do You Think You Are?
But many people don't know how to do it and Bexley's libraries service is offering to help.
Local studies and archive centre manager Simon McKeon will host a workshop in the Central library, Bexleyheath, on September 23.
The North West Kent Family History Society will also talk about its UK-wide database.
Tickets are available in advance from the centre which is at the Central Library.
