FIVE men charged with the murder of Christopher Alaneme have been remanded in custody.
The 18-year-old former Penge resident was knifed to death in Sheerness High Street in April.
Terence Beaney, aged 23 of Rideout Street, Woolwich; Peter Connolly, aged 29, of Carisbrooke Gardens, Peckham; Andrew Giblin, aged 26, of Bromyard House, Commercial Way, Peckham, and Sean Duhig, aged 23 and Gerry Duhig, aged 27, of Melbury Drive in Camberwell, appeared before Maidstone magistrates this morning.
They were all remanded in custody to appear at Maidstone Crown Court on September 25.
Mr Connolly, Mr Giblin and Mr Beaney were also charged with wounding with intent to cause grievous bodily harm to another man in Sheerness on April 21.
