POLICE have launched an appeal for information after an antique clock was stolen in burglary.
The clock was the only item taken during a burglary at a home in Charterhouse Road, Orpington, on July 15.
A Bromley police spokesman said: “The clock is a distinctive French black marble mounted clock, with Brocot visible escapement (circa 1890).
“The clock is approximately 18 inches tall and seven inches wide, made of marble and is very heavy.
“The access door at the rear of the clock has damaged hinges and does not close evenly.”
Anyone with information should call Detective Constable Jason Crinnion at Bromley police's Burglary Squad on 020 8284 8740 or Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
