Health protestors plan second hospital protest
ORGANISERS of a protest against hospital standards are gearing up for round two.
The Niekrash Law group, named after the whistle-blowing consultant who won an employment tribunal against hospital chiefs, is planning a demonstration outside Queen Elizabeth Hospital next month.
Organiser Helen Ellis claims to have many emails complaining about lack of improvements at the hospital.
At the 342-member group’s last protest in March there were calls for a change in the South London Healthcare Trust’s management and the reopening of Queen Mary’s Hospital A&E in Sidcup.
The trust has always insisted that standards are improving at Queen Elizabeth.
