A COMMUNITY health group which aims to improve patient care has received a visit from a politician.
Bromley and Chislehurst MP Bob Neill was shown the services offered by Bromley Healthcare, which range from district nursing and home visits to podiatry and diabetes.
Created in April and based at the Beckenham Beacon in Croydon Road, the group is owned by its 800 staff and makes 450,000 contacts with patients a year – mostly outside hospital.
A spokesman for the group said: “Mr Neill was impressed with the energy of the executive team and how it is tackling some of the bureaucracy it inherited, with a multitude of policy and measurement systems and how it’s now working to make this easier to ensure Bromley Healthcare continues delivering improvements to patient care.”
