Missing teenager sectioned after she is found hiding in tree
A TEENAGER who was found in a tree after going missing yesterday (July 20) has been sectioned.
The police helicopter and officers were called in to search for the 17-year-old girl after she was reported missing from Orpington at around 6.30am yesterday morning.
After an extensive search across the borough she was found in Jubilee Country Park, Petts Wood, just under 15 hours later.
She was taken to the Princess Royal University Hospital, Farnborough, for treatment to minor injuries before being sectioned at a nearby mental health unit.
