POLICE are appealing for witnesses to a violent knifepoint robbery in Lewisham.
On July 14 at around 1.20am a man in his 30s was walking along Muirkirk Road following a night out at a bar in Catford.
While making his way home he was approached by two black men armed with a knife.
The suspects, who wore garments across their faces, attacked and robbed the victim resulting in him needing hospital treatment.
Detectives want to speak to anyone who may have noticed two men loitering in the area of Muirkirk Road.
Officers are keeping an open mind as to whether or not the victim was specifically targeted.
