If you go down to the woods on Wednesday, you’re sure of a big surprise.
If you go down to the woods on Wednesday, you’d better go in disguise.
For every bear that ever there was will gather in the Heritage Park Community Hall, Craylands Lane, Swanscombe for certain, because July 27 is the day the teddy bears have their picnic.
The event, organised by Friends of Heritage Park, will feature a raffle, story-telling and refreshments for a £1 entrance fee.
Prizes will also be awarded for the best dressed teddies at the event, which runs from 2pm to 4pm.
Children must be accompanied by an adult, and visitors should bring their own picnics.
