BROMLEY’S first ever literary festival is coming to a close.
After being dreamt up just four months ago it started on June 15 and has included a number of sell out events to celebrate literature including authors discussing their work.
There have also been several workshops to help budding writers improve their skills.
And there are two events left before the festival ends on Sunday (July 10) – Performances of Comedy of Errors at Bromley Central Library and of Twelfth Night in Church House Gardens.
The festival is organised by publisher Acorn Independent Press.
AIP’s sales and marketing director Ali Dewji said: “We wanted to create a really inclusive, friendly festival to get the whole community, and family, engaging with books and to show support to our local librarians and booksellers.”
