RESIDENTS being are invited to two police recruitment events this month.
The Met Police need to recruit 2,500 extra Police Community Support Officers by April next year.
This will complete the roll-out of the Safer Neighbourhoods Teams across London.
These provide visible community policing and help solve crime and disorder.
The first event will take place at Simpson House, Peel Centre, Aerodrome Road, Hendon, on September 9.
Recruitment sessions will be held at 10am, noon and 2pm.
The second event will be on September 16 at the Islington Business Design Centre at 52 Upper Street.
Sessions will take place at 9.30am, 11am, 12.30pm and 2pm.
