A GREYHOUND owner is holding an open day for anyone interested in rehoming a dog.
The event is taking place on Sunday, September 10, at the Chequers pub, Southborough Lane, Bromley Common, from 2pm to 4pm.
Jo Stratford, of Hawthorn Road, Bickley, has several retired racing dogs available and some which have never raced.
People interested in offering a home will have them checked by Mrs Stratford to see whether they are suitable. There is no fee to pay.
She said: "Greyhounds are gentle animals and do not need more exercise than other dogs.
"They would love nothing more than to curl up by you, your fire or your children and other pets."
