RESIDENTS can now register to vote by telephone or on the internet.
The service, provided by Electoral Reform Services, means residents will remain on the electoral roll for any election or referendum next year.
Residents can call 0800 1975836 to confirm their details by entering a security code sent to them on a registration form.
The automated service is available 24 hours and is also available in Bengali, Cantonese, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu on 0800 1075836.
Details can also be confirmed by visiting registerbyinternet.com/gravesham Those needing to change their details should post the registration form back.
The service also gives the option for users to opt out of having their details added or removed from the edited version of the register, which is available for sale.
