THE OperaBabes combine traditional arias with showbiz spectacular and 21st-century stage effects. The glamourous pair of vocal virtuosi are coming to Dartford's Orchard Theatre on Friday.

With costumes by Princess Diana's dress designer Elizabeth Emanuel and Ben Rogers' set design fusing state-of-the-art lighting and video with traditional scenic elements, the visuals range from 19th-century Parisian decadence to Arabian Nights romance.

After being discovered busking in Covent Garden, the OperaBabes, Karen England and Rebecca Knight, embarked on an international career.

They have performed with the Royal Philharmonic, London and Berlin Symphony Orchestras.

Their current show includes popular songs and classic arias such as Pie Jesu and One Fine Day from Puccini's Madama Butterfly.
