POLICE have launched a pub-based surgery for victims of gay hate crime.
Officers will be in the Rose and Crown pub, Croom’s Hill, Greenwich, on the last Friday of every month.
The first surgery will be held on June 24, allowing people to report hate crime in confidence.
Detective Constable Stephen Proctor said: “Our surgery has a pivotal role in helping people to come forward.
“All officers involved fully understand the issues faced by the lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) community across London."
Advice on issues related to hate crime in the form of leaflets and information will also be provided.
