YOUNG people interested in making their career in areas as varied as as business administration, horticulture, surveying and childcare can drop in on an apprenticeships open day.
The event is begin held by Bexley Council in room 101 at the civic offices in Bexleyheath Broadway on June 24, from 10am until noon.
Every year the council offers work-based learning apprenticeship placements to 32 young people, aged between 16 and 24.
The apprenticeship programme offers young people a four-day a week placement within the council with the other day spent at college, working towards a recognised qualification.
