PARENTS who want their child to attend a grammar school must register this month to sit the Kent Test.
Registration for the year six exam closes on Friday July 1, and tests will be held in September.
Kent County Council cabinet member for education, learning and skills, Councillor Sarah Hohler, said: “Parents have four weeks in which to register. If they are not sure at this stage, they should seek advice from their child's primary school headteacher.
“As in previous years we will notify parents of the assessment in advance of the secondary school application deadline. That way they will be in a better position to make their school preferences.”
To register, visit kent.gov.uk/ola and complete the online form, or request a postal form by calling 01622 696565.
